About the role:

Australian Vintage Ltd are seeking for an enthusiastic, motivated and reliable Vineyard Hand to join our Coldridge Vineyard team on a CASUAL basis.

We are looking for people who will work positively with our existing workforce in achieving a successful growing season.

Applicants with previous tractor / multi row machinery experience will be highly regarded.

Duties & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Site Manager your primary duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Participate in Pre-start checks, daily handovers and Safety Toolboxes




- Competently operate vineyard equipment and machinery according to instructions and SOPs.
- Operate tractors safely.
- Cultivate vine fruit using up-to-date technology.
- Ensuring compliance with WHS policies and Standard Operating Procedures
- An understanding and commitment to quality and safety systems.
- Support and maintain compliance with Food Safety and Quality Management System.

Wages Remuneration is supported by the Enterprise Agreement. Afternoon, Night Shift and Weekend loadings apply.

Requirements

- Applicants must be 18 years or older to operate tractors and harvesting equipment safely.
- Applicants are required to have their own vehicle and current drivers' licence to commute to work
- Previous experience operating a Tractor.
- Forklift Licence: A forklift licence is preferred but not essential.
- Chemcert certificate would be an advantage or the willingness to obtain one.
- Safety is our No. 1 Priority: We are seeking a candidate who takes a safety conscious approach to work and follow instructions
- Strong teamwork skills: A team player who will actively assist in meeting targets and possess sound communication skills
- High level of physical fitness is required for demanding outdoor vineyard work in a changing outdoor environment and weather conditions.
- Previous experience: Previous vineyard and/or tractor operation experience is preferred but not essential.
