C2C Music Academy is looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Violin Teacher to join our growing teaching team in Schofields.
We are seeking someone who enjoys working with children and beginner-to-intermediate students and can provide structured, engaging and enjoyable violin lessons.
About the Role
You will provide private violin lessons to students of different ages and skill levels.
Lessons are generally scheduled during weekday after-school hours.
Your responsibilities will include
- Teaching one-on-one violin lessons
- Planning lessons based on each student's ability and goals
- Developing students' technique, posture, bowing, intonation, rhythm and musicality
- Teaching music reading, theory and repertoire where appropriate
- Preparing students for performances or examinations when required
- Maintaining a positive, patient and encouraging learning setting
- Communicating professionally with students, parents and academy management
- Keeping lessons organised and running on time
About You We would love to hear from you if you:
- Have strong violin performance skills
- Have previous teaching experience or are confident teaching students
- Enjoy working with children and young people
- Are patient, encouraging and professional
- Are reliable and punctual
- Have robust communication skills
- Can commit to regular weekly teaching hours
- Are comfortable teaching beginners through to more advanced students
Formal music qualifications are highly regarded but are not essential where the applicant has strong performance and teaching experience.

- Strong practical violin skills
- Availability during weekday afternoons and evenings
- Reliable transport to Schofields
- A valid Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain one
- Australian working rights
