Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking a dedicated The primary purpose of the role is to provide high quality diagnostic and consultative specialty services in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (O&G;) and to participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the Department and Hospital as required.
The Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department at Canterbury Hospital is a busy service, providing maternity and gynaecological care to women from culturally diverse backgrounds from the local community/population. The Department provides inpatient, outpatient and consultation services in gynaecology, antenatal care and obstetrics for patients of gestation 34 weeks and above. The Department is well supported by a Paediatrics Department for neonatal care.

The successful applicant will be a current registered Medical practitioner, registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) and/or other equivalent specialist recognition.
