We are seeking a capable Volunteer Project Coordinator to help organise activities, follow up actions and support the smooth delivery of current projects.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a practical coordination role for someone who enjoys keeping people informed, maintaining accurate information and making sure important tasks do not fall through the gaps.
You will work under the direction of Compass leadership and support clearly identified projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain project action lists, timelines and supporting documents
- Schedule meetings and prepare simple agendas
- Record decisions, responsibilities and agreed next steps
- Follow up contributors regarding outstanding actions
- Organise project information in shared systems
- Assist with stakeholder communication
- Provide brief and accurate progress updates
- Support general project administration as required
ABOUT YOU
You may have experience in administration, project support, operations, events,
community services or professional services.
You will ideally bring
- Robust organisational and time-management skills
- Attention to detail
- Confident and professional communication
- Experience using email, shared documents and spreadsheets
- The ability to follow instructions and work independently
- A reliable approach to completing agreed tasks
- Respect for people with disability and Compass’s purpose
