Compass Institute supports young people and adults with disability to continue learning, build confidence, develop practical skills and participate meaningfully in their communities.

We are looking for an experienced Volunteer Project Manager to help turn valuable ideas and initiatives into clear, achievable projects.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Working with Compass leadership and team members, you will help define project objectives, establish practical plans and keep agreed activities moving forward.

This is a strategic coordination role suited to someone who enjoys bringing clarity, structure and momentum to purpose-led projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Help define project objectives, scope, deliverables and timelines
- Develop straightforward project plans and action lists
- Coordinate contributors and monitor agreed actions
- Identify dependencies, risks and potential delays
- Facilitate brief project meetings when required
- Provide clear progress updates to Compass leadership
- Help ensure projects remain practical and aligned with Compass priorities

ABOUT YOU

You may have experience in project management, operations, business improvement,



consulting or program delivery. You are organised, proactive and comfortable working independently.

You will ideally bring

- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Experience coordinating people, priorities and deadlines
- Confidence following up agreed actions
- A practical, solutions-focused approach
- Respect for people with disability and Compass’s purpose
