Wall and Floor Tiler – Full time Permanent

Australasian Stone is a well-established tiling, stone and waterproofing contractor with operations across Victoria and Queensland. With a team of more than 100 employees, we deliver high-quality residential, commercial and multi-residential projects for leading builders and developers.

We are seeking an experienced Wall and Floor Tiler to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The position will involve working on a range of residential and commercial tiling projects, with a focus on quality workmanship, safety and meeting project-program requirements.

Key responsibilities include

- Reviewing drawings, specifications and set-out requirements
- Preparing wall and floor substrates, including levelling and screeding works
- Measuring, marking, cutting and laying ceramic, porcelain, natural stone and other tiles
- Installing wall and floor tiles to the required quality standard
- Completing grouting, silicone sealing, finishing and minor rectification works
- Assisting with waterproofing preparation and coordinating with waterproofing trades
- Repairing and replacing damaged tiles where required




- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work area
- Coordinating with supervisors, other trades and project teams
- Complying with WHS requirements, project specifications and company quality procedures

To be successful, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience as a Wall and Floor Tiler
- Experience with porcelain, ceramic and natural stone tiling
- Ability to read plans, understand set-outs and work independently
- Robust attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Construction White Card
- Reliable transport and the ability to work across project sites
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team

This is a full-time permanent role (38 hours per week) offering an annual salary of $80,000 plus superannuation, depending on skills and experience. Australasian Stone is an equal opportunity employer.
