Macsim is looking for an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead our Western Australian warehouse operations.

This is a key operational leadership role for someone who knows how to run an efficient warehouse, lead a team and maintain high standards across safety, inventory accuracy, order fulfilment, dispatch and customer service.

You won’t be managing from behind a desk. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable leading from the floor, setting the pace for the team and jumping in when required.

About the Role

Reporting to the National Operations Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operation of our WA warehouse and lead warehouse employees and agency labour.

Your focus will be ensuring the warehouse operates safely and efficiently, stock remains accurate and customer orders are picked, packed and dispatched correctly and on time.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Leading, supervising and allocating daily work across the warehouse team

- Planning labour and workflow around order volumes and freight cut-off times

- Managing receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, checking, packing and dispatch

- Ensuring customer orders and stock transfers are processed accurately and efficiently

- Working towards Macsim's 24-hour stock dispatch policy

- Maintaining high standards of stock accuracy and inventory control

- Coordinating cycle counts and annual stocktakes and investigating stock variances

- Managing backorders, stock transfers and urgent or special orders

- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse





- Implementing and enforcing WHS procedures and safe work practices

- Overseeing forklifts, warehouse equipment, racking, premises and site security

- Training, mentoring and supporting warehouse employees

- Monitoring team performance, productivity, attendance and quality

- Liaising with management, sales, customers and freight providers

- Identifying practical improvements to warehouse workflow, layout, safety and inventory control

- Assisting with picking, packing, forklift operation and customer service when operational demand requires

About You

We’re looking for a practical warehouse leader who is organised, reliable and comfortable taking ownership of day-to-day operations.

You’ll be able to manage competing priorities without losing sight of safety, accuracy or customer service.

To succeed in the role, you will ideally have:

- 5+ years' relevant experience across warehousing, distribution, customer service or administration

- Previous experience supervising warehouse employees or coordinating daily warehouse operations
- A current High Risk Work Licence to operate a forklift

- Strong knowledge of receiving, inventory control, picking, packing, dispatch and returns

- Experience with inventory,



order processing or warehouse management systems

- Strong people leadership and communication skills
- The ability to plan labour and workflow effectively

- Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on order accuracy

- Valuable computer and numeracy skills
- A hands-on, organised and methodical approach
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- The ability to communicate effectively with employees, management, customers and service providers
