About the role

Workers within the Stores Warehouse are responsible for assisting with the daily operational functionalities of the department both accurately and promptly. These duties may include, but are not limited to, order picking and packing, quality control, operating machinery, loading and unloading, stock replenishment, plus general duties as required. You have the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the business, work well within a team environment and deal professionally with Plastec customers and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

- Pack orders as per the picking slip allocation

- Process each order as per the packing guidelines at a consistently high work rate

- Ensure orders are picked in transport order as requested by the Warehouse Supervisor

- Notify the Warehouse Supervisor of low stock in pick faces, where required, to ensure adequate replenishment

- Ensure that all stock discrepancies and labeling errors are reported immediately to the Warehouse Supervisor

- Pack full pallets for dispatch and part pallets of stock as per the 'Pallet Carton Quantity' schedule

- Stock transfers, using the necessary system transfer process

- Stock replenishment and receipting inwards goods

- Report all safety hazards and dangerous behavior immediately to your Supervisor

- Load and unload transports, assisting other workers with heavy loads, and general housekeeping





About you

Forklift Truck License required

- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the business

- Ability to work well within a team workplace

- Ability to deal professionally with customers and suppliers

- Ability to adhere to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance
