Warehouse & Process Worker – Forklift Licence Essential

JR Packaging is a locally owned packaging manufacturer and importer based in Marrickville, Sydney. We're looking for a reliable, hands-on Warehouse & Process Worker to join our small team.

This is a straightforward, varied role combining warehouse work and light production/machine operation. Previous packaging experience isn't required — full training on our machinery will be provided.

We're looking for someone who is comfortable with physical work, knows their way around a warehouse, has solid forklift experience and, most importantly, turns up ready to work.

The Role

Your day will generally involve:

- Picking and packing customer orders
- Loading, unloading and moving stock using a forklift
- Receiving and putting away incoming stock
- Operating packaging machinery after training
- Setting up machines for production runs
- Packing finished bags into cartons and performing basic quality checks
- General warehouse housekeeping and keeping work areas organised
- Occasional local deliveries may be available for candidates with a driver's licence

The role is approximately 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, based entirely at our Marrickville facility.

What We're Looking For

- Current NSW LF Forklift Licence – essential
- Previous forklift experience – essential
- Physically capable of regular warehouse work, including handling cartons weighing up to approximately 26kg
- Reliable and punctual




- Comfortable working on your feet and completing hands-on tasks
- Able to follow instructions and work independently once trained
- Previous warehouse, manufacturing or process-work experience is advantageous, but not essential

Also Highly Regarded
- Current NSW driver's licence
- Manual driving experience
- Previous production or machine-operation experience
