About the role

Multifix WA is looking for an experienced and reliable Warehouse / Storeperson to join our small team in Osborne Park. We supply fasteners, fixings and related products to the construction and trade industries, and we're looking for someone who can confidently step into a busy warehouse environment with minimal training. This role would suit someone who has previously worked in hardware, fasteners, construction supplies, industrial supplies or a similar trade-based warehouse environment.

For the right person, there is potential for the role to transition into a permanent position over time.

Key responsibilities

- Picking and packing customer orders
- Receiving and checking incoming stock
- Unpacking and putting away deliveries
- Maintaining accurate stock locations
- Preparing orders for collection and delivery
- Loading and unloading goods
- Assisting with stocktakes and general inventory control
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe
- Liaising with our sales and counter team regarding customer orders
- Occasionally assisting customers at the trade counter

About you





- Has previous warehouse or stores experience
- Ideally has experience with fasteners, hardware, industrial supplies, construction products or a similar industry
- Is confident identifying and handling different products and stock
- Is reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Has valuable attention to detail when picking orders
- Is physically capable of carrying out normal warehouse duties
- Is organised and takes pride in keeping a warehouse running efficiently
- Has a friendly, practical approach and works well within a small team
- Is comfortable dealing with trade customers when required
- A forklift licence would be advantageous, but is not essential
