Wedding Superstore is looking for a reliable and practical Warehouse Worker to join our Nambour team.
This is a hands-on role within our busy eCommerce warehouse, combining day-to-day order picking and packing with responsibility for leading container unloads and incoming stock movements.
You will report to our Operations Lead and work as part of a small warehouse team.
Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 9:00am–2:00pm
- Approximately 25 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Picking customer orders accurately using RF scanners
- Packing and preparing orders for dispatch
- Checking products and quantities before dispatch
- Replenishing stock into picking locations
- Leading and coordinating shipping container unloads
- Directing the warehouse team during container unloads to ensure stock is unloaded safely and efficiently
- Checking incoming cartons and quantities against delivery information
- Coordinating where incoming stock is staged and stored
- Ensuring stock is moved into the correct warehouse locations
- Reporting shortages, damages or discrepancies to the Operations Lead
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised warehouse
- Helping ensure stock locations remain accurate
- Preparing cartons and general packing materials
- Assisting with courier collections and dispatch preparation
- Completing general warehouse duties as required
About You We are looking for someone who is reliable, accurate and comfortable taking responsibility in a busy warehouse workplace.
You will need to
- Be able to read product descriptions,
labels and order information accurately
- Have strong basic numeracy skills and be confident counting quantities
- Have basic computer skills
- Be comfortable learning and using RF scanners and warehouse systems
- Have strong attention to detail
- Be physically capable of regular warehouse work, including lifting cartons and stock
- Be comfortable with manual handling and physically demanding container unloads
- Be confident organising and leading other staff during container unloads
- Be able to follow procedures while also using initiative when required
- Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Be punctual, dependable and organised
Previous warehouse, pick/pack, container unloading or eCommerce experience would be highly regarded. Experience coordinating warehouse tasks or directing a small team would also be an advantage.
