BGD Commercial Water Proofing & Tiling is a growing SEQ business offering multiple roles for experienced Water Proofers, Tilers and Supervisors. We are building teams to service our ever growing client list in SEQ predominantly with projects in Brisbane and expanding into the Gold Coast. The Water Proofing (Qualified) applicant should have:

- Certificate III in Water Proofing (highly desirable)
- Experience with Internal and external waterproofing works across wet areas, balconies and planters
- Experience working on low and high rise residential projects
- Experience with remedial type works ie injection systems (preferred)
- Application of liquid and sheet membranes
- Sealant installation to joints, penetrations and transitions

- Substrate preparation and scarification
- Epoxy flooring systems, including preparation and coating
- Working to plans, specifications and Australian Standards

The Wall & Floor Tiling (Qualified) applicant should have:

- Certificate III in Wall & Floor Tiling (highly desirable)
- Experience with Internal and External tiling works across wet areas, balconies, pools, walkways etc
- Experience working on low and high rise residential projects




- Experience working with a variety of tile types ie ceramic, porcelain, stone, crazy pave etc
- Experience working with a variety of tile installation systems ie adhesive, pedestal, mechanical
- Ability to install Grout and Sealant
- Ability to install screed/bedding with falls
- Ability to install water stop and drip edge angles
- Working to plans, specifications and Australian Standards

Tiling Supervisors (Qualified)

- Certificate III in Wall & Floor Tiling (highly desirable)
- Experience with Internal and External tiling works across wet areas, balconies, pools, walkways etc
- Experience working on low and high rise residential projects
- Experience working with a variety of tile types ie ceramic, porcelain, stone, crazy pave etc
- Experience working with a variety of tile installation systems ie adhesive, pedestal, mechanical
- Ability to install Grout and Sealant
- Ability to install screed/bedding with falls
- Ability to install water stop and drip edge angles
- Working to plans, specifications and Australian Standards
- Ability to manage stock control, staff control and liaise onsite with Site Supervisors
- Ability to manage/document claim schedules and variations
- Ability to over see staff and ensure KPIs are met

What you'll need to succeed:

- Construction White Card
- Drivers License
- Qualified or minimum 6 months applicable industry experience
- Recent employment reference in a similar field
- Employment reference must be within 12 months
- Ability to work in a team setting
- High attention to detail and strong work ethic
- Self motivated and driven
- Full availability and reliability
- Valid work visa or Australian work authorisation required
- Sponsorship available for the right applicant
