Welder (MIG) – Workshop Role

Truflo Pumping Systems | Bathurst NSW | Full Time

Truflo Pumps is a leading manufacturer of high-performance pumping systems supplying the mining, industrial and infrastructure sectors across Australia. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Welder (MIG) to join our team in Bathurst, in October 2026.

This is a hands-on workshop-based role working on pump systems, pipework and structural components used in demanding mining environments.

What You'll Be Doing

- MIG welding on structural steel, pipework and pump components
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and welding specifications
- Preparing and setting up materials for welding
- Aligning, clamping and assembling components prior to welding
- Ensuring all welds meet A.S1554 standards and company quality requirements
- Inspecting welds and identifying defects
- Grinding, finishing and preparing surfaces for coating or painting
- Maintaining welding equipment and ensuring a safe work area




- Supporting workshop projects and working collaboratively with the fabrication team
- Contributing ideas to improve workshop processes and efficiency

What We're Looking For
- Proven MIG welding experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience welding pipe and structural components
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
- Commitment to workplace safety
- Welding certification or trade qualification advantageous
- TIG welding experience is a bonus
