Eco Scrap Recycling Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Welder – First Class to join our metal recycling workshop. You will perform high‑precision welding, structural fabrication, repairs and assembly work in a busy industrial environment.
Key responsibilities
- Structural welding using MIG, TIG and Stick processes
- Metal fabrication including cutting, forming and assembling steel components
- Reading and interpreting drawings and welding symbols
- Weld quality inspection to AS/NZS standards
- Repairing and maintaining metal structures and equipment
- Operating workshop machinery and tools safely
- Always maintaining WHS compliance
About you
- Certificate III or IV in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a First-Class Welder
- Strong competency in MIG,
TIG and SMAW welding
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Experience in fabrication, recycling, construction or heavy‑industry environments
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
