Boilermaker / Welder – Full-Time

Weldworks Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Boilermaker/Welder to work across our clients’ construction and fabrication projects throughout Sydney.

This is a full time opportunity to join a supportive team and contribute to residential, commercial and public infrastructure projects.

About You The successful applicant will demonstrate:

- Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade with at least two years of relevant experience, or a relevant Certificate IV qualification
- At least two years of proven experience as a Boilermaker, Welder or Metal Fabricator
- Strong knowledge of welding processes, fabrication techniques and metal materials
- Experience with MIG, TIG and/or stick welding
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and fabrication plans
- Good physical fitness, stamina and manual-handling capability
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Flexible availability when required

Key Responsibilities

- Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and fabrication plans
- Measure,



mark, cut, shape, bend and prepare metal components
- Fabricate, assemble, weld and install metal structures, components and equipment
- Perform welding using appropriate techniques and equipment, including MIG, TIG and/or stick welding
- Inspect and test completed welds and fabricated components to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards
- Repair or replace damaged metal components, structures and equipment
- Carry out maintenance work as required
- Operate and maintain welding, cutting and fabrication tools and equipment
- Work closely with fabricators, engineers and other team members to complete projects within required timeframes
- Maintain accurate measurements, alignment and workmanship throughout the fabrication process
- Follow workplace health and safety requirements and use appropriate personal protective equipment
- Keep work areas, tools and equipment clean, safe and organised
