We're currently seeking experienced Installation Technicians to join a major renewable energy project in Western Australia.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on the construction of a large-scale wind farm, installing mechanical components as part of a highly experienced project team.
The project is scheduled to run until late March 2027, with the potential for ongoing work.
About the Role:
Working on a 2 weeks on / 1 week off FIFO roster, you'll be responsible for the installation and assembly of mechanical components associated with wind turbine construction.
FIFO is from Perth, however, applicants in other states within Australia may be considered for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mechanical/Electrical installation and assembly of wind turbine components.
- Assist with lifting, positioning and installation activities.
- Work safely alongside crane crews and other trades.
- Read and interpret drawings and installation plans.
- Complete work to the highest quality and safety standards.
- Work collaboratively to achieve project milestones.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in installation on mining,
construction, industrial or renewable energy projects.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
- Experience working around heavy lifts and large structural components.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
- Robust commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Essential:
- Construction White Card.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
- Previous experience on wind farm or major infrastructure projects.
- Available to start within the next 2 weeks.
Highly Desirable:
- Current FMG Site Induction.
- Dogging and/or Rigging experience.
- Working at Heights.
- Confined Space.
- High Risk Work Licence.
- EWP Ticket.
