About the Role

You’ll play a key role in ensuring workplace safety, compliance, and continuous improvement by:

- Driving compliance with WHS legislation and internal systems (SHEQMS)

- Supporting and advising leaders on risk management, incident response, and corrective actions

- Conducting audits, inspections, and daily site monitoring

- Leading and contributing to risk assessments and safety initiatives

- Delivering WHS training across all levels of the business

- Supporting contractor and visitor compliance requirements

- Assisting with incident investigations (ICAM or similar)

- Monitoring, reporting, and closing out corrective actions

This is a highly visible,



site-based role where you’ll build strong relationships and influence safe behaviours at all levels.

About You

You’re a practical, solutions-focused safety skilled who enjoys being on the ground and working closely with teams.

You’ll bring

- Cert IV in Work Health & Safety (minimum)

- Proven experience in a WHS-focused role (ideally 2 years)

- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and risk management practices

- Experience conducting audits, inspections, and investigations

- Confidence influencing and coaching stakeholders

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- A proactive, hands-on approach to safety

Highly regarded:

- Experience in food, meat processing, or manufacturing

- ICAM investigation training

- Quality auditing qualifications

- Contractor management experience
