Workshop Assistant / Trade Assistant (TA) – Transport Industry

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and physically fit Workshop Assistant / Trade Assistant (TA) to join our transport team in Perth. In this role, you will support our qualified mechanics, maintain the workshop, and ensure our fleet is clean and ready for the road. This is a full-time position offering stable hours and a great team environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Mechanical Support: Assist qualified mechanics with servicing and repairing trucks and heavy trailers.
- Parts & Errands: Pick up and deliver parts from suppliers across the Perth metro area.
- Fleet Maintenance: Wash, clean, and detail trucks and trailers.
- Yard Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized,



and safe workshop environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Driver's Licence: Minimum of a valid Australian car driver’s licence (C-Class). Higher classes (MR/HR) are highly regarded.
- Physical Fitness: Capability to handle heavy lifting and manual labor in a fast-paced workshop environment.
- Work Ethic: Solid communication skills, punctuality, and a proactive attitude.

Hours & Schedule

- 5 days a week (Monday to Friday)
- Opportunities for overtime and weekend work as required
