Robert Half is partnering with a well-established and growing business to recruit a Financial Accountant contractor. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to join a dynamic organisation and contribute to a high-performing finance team.

The successful candidate will be CA qualified with a minimum of 3 years' Financial Accounting experience and will thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Finance Manager, key duties will include:

- Preparation of monthly financial reports and management accounts
- Month-end and year-end close processes
- Balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
- Preparation of statutory reporting requirements including BAS and GST
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Variance analysis and financial performance reporting
- Fixed asset accounting and asset register maintenance
- Cash flow reporting and monitoring
- Assisting with internal and external audit requirements
- Ensuring compliance with Australian accounting standards and internal controls
- Supporting process improvement initiatives across the finance function
- Business partnering with operational and senior stakeholders

About You

To be considered for this opportunity, you will possess:

- CA / CPA qualification (or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Financial Accountant position
- Strong technical accounting and statutory knowledge




- Advanced Excel skills and strong ERP/system experience
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Immediate start
- Open to Working Holiday Visa holders
