We are looking for a skilled carpenter to join our team.

Job Responsibilities

- Interpret construction drawings, plans and specifications to determine measurements, materials and work requirements.
- Ordering and selecting timbers and materials
- Set out and construct timber wall frames, flooring, roof structures and other residential carpentry components.
- Measure, cut, shape and assemble timber and other materials using appropriate hand and power tools.
- Select and prepare timber, fixings and construction materials according to project requirements.
- Install doors, windows, architraves, skirting boards, cladding, feature walls and other carpentry components.
- Carry out finishing, fit-off, repair, renovation and refurbishment carpentry works.
- Carry out detailed fit-off and finishing carpentry work,



ensuring components are accurately aligned, levelled, securely fixed, and finished to the required standard.
- Inspect completed work for accuracy, alignment, quality and compliance with plans and specifications.
- Identify and rectify defects, damaged timber and construction issues as required.
- Undertaking repair, refurbishment, and renovation works.
- Safely operate and maintain carpentry tools, machinery and equipment.
- Follow WHS requirements, maintain a safe and organised worksite, and coordinate effectively with other trades and site personnel.

Qualifications, Experience and skills required for this role

- Certificate III/IV in Carpentry or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in similar role
- Technical Carpentry Skills including tool handling, cutting and shaping wood, measuring, lay out and material knowledge
- High attention to detail and quality workmanship
- WHS compliance and safe work practices
- Problem solving skills
- Good finishing and detailing skills
- Strong skills in joinery and accurate fitting
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
