Campbelltown & Camden Hospitals are seeking an enthusiastic Allied Health Assistant in the Occupational Therapy Department. This position will work across varied clinical areas providing intervention with patients as well as providing coverage to the Equipment Loan Pool. The role will involve both clinical and administrative responsibilities. Working within the Occupational Therapy Department provides opportunity for; Enhancing skills and attaining competencies Regular supervision Access to education and training opportunities Participation in projects and quality improvement initiatives What We are Looking For

Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or relevant qualification or Minimum 12 months full-time equivalent relevant experience with commitment to undertake the Certificate IV in AHA within 12 month period. Demonstrated positive organisational skills and ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Knowledge and understanding of Work Health and Safety legislation and principles. Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment.
