ARRE is looking for a

Floor Supervisor

to take ownership of our breakfast service and morning operation.

We are looking for someone who understands that

great hospitality is about more than getting the food and coffee to the table .

The service needs to be warm, polished, knowledgeable and genuinely memorable.

At the same time, we want someone who can take our coffee program and

seriously refine it

— improving the coffee itself, the workflow, consistency and the overall experience.

THE ROLE You’ll be responsible for running an exceptional breakfast service while helping build the café side of ARRE.

Your priorities will be:

1. Exceptional hospitality

You will set the standard for the room.

Deliver warm, confident and attentive service

Know the menu and be able to talk about the food with customers

Read the room and anticipate what guests need

Lead the team by example

Maintain a calm, organised and polished service even when busy

Build genuine relationships with regular customers

Make people want to come back

2. Seriously good coffee We want to take the coffee program to another level.

You’ll work with us to:

Assess and refine our current coffee program

Improve extraction, consistency and presentation

Establish clear coffee standards and recipes

Improve grinder and machine workflow

Train the team to make consistently excellent coffee

Work with coffee suppliers and help select the right coffee

Review equipment and identify improvements

Develop better systems for dialling in and maintaining quality

Make coffee an important part of the ARRE experience

You don’t need to be a competition barista.

But you

do need to know good coffee, care about the details and want to make it significantly better.

You’ll also take ownership of the practical side of the morning operation:





Run breakfast service from opening through to handover

Organise the café window each morning

Coordinate pastries, takeaway products and specials

Manage opening and closing procedures

Coordinate bookings, tables and service flow

Manage morning prep, stock and wastage

Work closely with the kitchen

Train and supervise the morning team

Build simple systems and SOPs that make the operation better

WHO WE’R LOOKING FOR We’re looking for someone with

serious hospitality standards .

You should have:

At least 2 years’ experience in a quality restaurant or café

Experience supervising a floor or leading a small team

Strong barista skills and genuine knowledge of coffee

Excellent communication and customer service skills

A high level of attention to detail

Confidence running a service independently

A natural ability to lead people

A commercial understanding of hospitality

The energy to be hands-on and involved in the operation

Most importantly, you need to

give a sh*t about hospitality .

We want someone who notices when a customer has been waiting too long.

Someone who notices when a coffee isn’t right.

Someone who wants to fix the problem rather than walk past it.
