Job Summary:

n

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Spare Parts Interpreter to join our much-valued team at our Brendale Supastore on the northside of Brisbane. As a Spare Parts Interpreter you will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally. You will have very robust communication skills, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and the ability to read and understand technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist customers (internal and external) in person, over the phone or via email.
n
- Use parts database, catalogues and supplier web portals to access technical drawings.
n




- Interpret customer needs and identify correct spare parts.
n
- Provide quotes, availability and lead times where required.
n
- Advise on compatible parts or alternatives if the original part is unavailable.
n
- Order parts from suppliers when not in stock.
n
- Maintain accurate customer information in company database.
n
- Co-ordinate customer deliveries and in-store collection of parts on order.
n
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and escalation when necessary.
n
- Perform administrative tasks as assigned.
n
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable assistance.

Requirements:

n

n
- Experience as a Parts Interpreter or Trainee Spare Parts Interpreter.
n
- Good mechanical / technical knowledge.
n
- Strong computer skills and the ability to use point-of-sale systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
n
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
n
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
