What you'll be doing
n As a Pharmacy Technician, you will provide reliable pharmaceutical support that helps ensure patients receive the right medication safely and efficiently.

n

Perform medication distribution and dispensing activities accurately and safely

n

Prepare sterile and non-sterile pharmaceutical products to approved formulations

n

Provide patient-focused pharmacy services across designated areas

n





Ensure medication handling complies with legislation, policies and procedures

n

Participate in quality assurance, performance development and student supervision

n

Qualification: Pharmacy Technician Grade 1 –Certificate III in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support,Pharmacy Technician Grade 2 - Certificate IV in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support.

Selection Criteria

n

Demonstrated good communication skills and interpersonal skills.

n

Demonstrated satisfactory pharmacy dispensing experience in Australia (or equivalent).

n

Demonstrated ability to prioritise large workload and have good time management skills.

n

Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

n

Willing and able to perform all aspects of sterile (including cytotoxic) manufacturing.

n

Must be willing and able to work late shifts and overtime on weekends as required.

n
