We've partnered with a

leading international bank

to recruit Financial Crime Analysts to join a specialist investigations team responsible for identifying, investigating and escalating suspicious matters to AUSTRAC.

This is a great opportunity for candidates with

Financial Crime, AML/CTF, Fraud, Banking, Remediation or Risk experience , as well as candidates from other relevant backgrounds who have strong investigative and analytical skills and a genuine interest in developing a career in financial crime.

What You'll Be Doing:

Investigating unusual matters escalated from Fraud Operations

Reviewing customer profiles and account activity

Analysing transaction patterns and financial crime risks

Identifying fraud and AML/CTF red flags

Preparing high-quality Grounds for Suspicion (GFS) narratives





Drafting SMRs for review and potential submission to AUSTRAC

Providing clear rationale where matters are not deemed suspicious

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in

Banking, Financial Crime, AML/CTF, Fraud, Remediation, Risk or a related investigative setting

Strong analytical and investigative skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to assess information criticallyExcellent attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn

Ability to work through complex information and make well-reasoned decisions

The Opportunity:

$450pd + super

Sydney CBD

Hybrid working arrangement (3 days in office once trained)

Contracts through to 31 March 2027

Full-time Monday to Friday business hours
