Formworkers Wanted - Carpenters, Leading Hands and Labourers

Newcastle Formwork Services is seeking experienced formworkers across all levels for ongoing commercial projects throughout Newcastle, Port Stephens and the Hunter.

We are interested in hearing from:

- Formwork carpenters

- Leading hands

- Experienced formwork labourers

- Workers experienced in stripping formwork

Our work includes conventional formwork, suspended decks, concrete walls, columns, stairs, edge forms and associated commercial formwork.

About the roles

Depending on your experience, duties may include:

- Setting out and constructing formwork

- Conventional decks, walls, columns and stairs

- Installing and stripping formwork systems

- Stripping, cleaning and preparing materials for reuse

- Reading construction and structural drawings

- Assisting with concrete pours

- Maintaining a safe and organised work area





- Working productively as part of a small formwork crew

What we're looking for

- Previous formwork experience

- Reliable and able to work consistently

- Strong work ethic and ability to work within a team

- Construction White Card

- Driver's licence and reliable transport

- Own basic hand tools for carpenter positions

- Valuable understanding of construction-site safety

Applicants with strong conventional formwork or stripping experience will be highly regarded.
