Wildfire Engraving is a busy small business operating from a warehouse in Yatala, QLD, manufacturing and engraving a wide range of cutting boards, custom awards, wedding items and more. This is a flexible, creative role suited to a person with Graphic Design experience, a love for woodworking, laser engraving and creative tasks, and sales/customer service knowledge. Onsite training will be provided for the laser engraver; basic knowledge would be beneficial but not necessary.

Key responsibilities

Proofing and liaising with customers via email and phone
n
Organising orders and keeping up with deadlines
n
Operating a Laser Engraver and engraving orders
n
Packing orders and booking couriers
n
Maintaining a clean and tidy workplace
n
About you
n
Basic Graphic Design skills; understanding of programs like Corel Draw will be beneficial
n
Laser Engraving skills, or keen to learn them
n
Fantastic organisational skills
n
Able to engrave, pack and send orders out on time
n
This is a relatively temporary position, to cover an existing employee's maternity leave for the whole year of 2027.
n However, most preferably, we would like someone to start with us part-time for October, November and December of this year, during our busiest period, to learn all the ins and outs.
n If Wildfire expands further next year, the position could become permanent.
n
We are extremely versatile with work hours.
n Approx 25 – 38 hours, between 6am – 4pm and Monday – Friday.
n We are happy to work around school hours, and this would be a great role for someone returning to the workforce.
