Minimum Qualifications / Experience / Key Competencies

n

- Minimum Grade 12
n
- National Diploma / Trade Test Certificate in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or related field
n
- Minimum 3–5 years' relevant experience in an industrial/mining/plant environment
n
- Minimum 3–5 years' relevant experience in an industrial/mining/plant environment
n
- Proven hands‐on experience with level measurement instrumentation, specifically VEGA level probes and associated equipment
n
- Sound knowledge of PLC systems, control loops, and process instrumentation
n
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
n
- Willingness to work at the Lethabo Site and participate in standby duties
n
- Strong fault‐finding and problem‐solving ability
n
- Good understanding of electrical safety standards
n
- Positive understanding of electrical safety standards
n
- Strong communication and reporting skills
n
- Team player with a proactive approach to maintenance
n

Duties And Responsibilities (not Limited To)

n

n
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical,



instrumentation, and control systems on plant equipment
n
- Configure, calibrate, and maintain VEGA level probes and related level measurement instrumentation (radar, ultrasonic, guided wave radar, and capacitive probes)
n
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on instrumentation and control panels
n
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on instrumentation and control panels
n
- Interpret electrical drawings, loop diagrams, and P&IDs;
n
- Ensure compliance with relevant electrical and safety legislation (e.g. OHS Act)
n
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and calibration certificates
n
- Liaise with equipment suppliers (including VEGA) on technical support, spares, and servicing where required
n
- Participate in standby/on-call duties as per site requirements
n
