About the Role
n
We are currently looking for a Trust Accountant to join our team on a long-term basis. This is a permanent full-time position (Monday-Friday, 9.00am-5.00pm). In this dynamic role your tasks will include:
n

- managing daily trust account receipting and reconciliations;
n
- processing weekly payment runs;
n
- processing end of month and other ad hoc charges and disbursements;
n
- managing accounts payable activities;
n
- coordinating BAS submissions and tax returns;
n
- on-boarding and off-boarding clients within our systems;
n
- strata plan budgeting and reporting;
n
- additional compliance activities; and
n
- other ad hoc administrative and accounting duties.

About You
n
To be successful in this role you will have:
n

- a background in trust accounting, ideally within the strata industry;
n
- exceptional attention to detail;
n
- an advanced Microsoft Excel skillset;
n
- a client and team focused approach to your work;
n
- commercial acumen and be a quick learner;
n
- the ability to be versatile and adaptable in order to adhere to strict deadlines;
n
- excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask; and
n
- the drive to be a motivated self-starter.

This role is best suited to a candidate who holds an accounting qualification. A Certificate of Registration or Strata Licence will also be a benefit in applying for this position.
n
Experience using Property IQ and FileSmart software will be looked upon favourably.
