About the role

Brisbane Isuzu is seeking a full-time Accessory Fitter / Trade Assistant to join our growing team in Burpengary, Queensland. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically minded individual to develop a rewarding career in the automotive trades industry. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for fitting and installing vehicle accessories whilst working alongside experienced tradespeople. This position offers a fantastic entry point into the automotive sector, or a great opportunity for someone looking to expand their existing mechanical knowledge and skillset.

Key responsibilities

- Fitting and installing vehicle accessories to vehicles, including towbars, bull bars, canopies, and other aftermarket components

- Preparing vehicles for accessory installation by assessing compatibility

- Using appropriate tools and equipment safely and correctly to complete installation work

- Ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality standards and meets customer expectations

- Maintaining a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety protocols at all times

- Following workshop procedures and documentation requirements accurately

- Once a job is completed ensure all quality checks are done and the vehicle is clean ready for customer collection.

- Ensuring no damage is caused to customer vehicles and property during fitment by utilising the correct equipment and following fitting instructions.

What we're looking for

- A mechanically minded individual with a genuine passion for automotive work and a willingness to learn

- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship

- Good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude

- Reliability and punctuality, with a professional approach to work

- Relevant qualifications in automotive trades, mechanical engineering,



or equivalent work experience would be highly regarded

- Experience in accessory fitting, panel beating, or general mechanical work is advantageous but not essential for the right candidate
