Join our friendly team as a Casual Sales Assistant at the Kwinana Hub Lottery Centre & Newsagency. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a busy retail setting, providing excellent customer service and assisting with a range of sales and merchandising tasks. 25-30 hours per week possibly more.
What you'll be doing
- Greeting and assisting customers with their purchases and enquiries
- Operating the cash register and handling cash and payments
- Restocking and merchandising products to maintain an attractive store presentation
- Ensuring the store is kept clean, tidy and well-organised
- Providing support to the store management team as required
What we're looking for
- Previous experience preffered in a customer-facing retail role, preferably in a newsagency environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and helpful approach
- Excellent cash handling and numerical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Access to a PC to complete a mandatory online Lotterywest Course
