About the Opportunity

Due to sustained growth and a strong pipeline of projects, they are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their Brisbane team. The Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in providing accurate cost advice and commercial support throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with clients, project teams, and contractors, you will contribute to the successful delivery of complex projects across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities

- Preparation of cost plans, estimates, and feasibility studies.

- Quantity take-offs and measurement of construction works.

- Procurement and tendering support, including tender analysis and recommendations.

- Contract administration and commercial management.

- Assessment and negotiation of progress claims and variations.

- Cost reporting, forecasting, and financial tracking.

- Preparation of cash flow forecasts and project budgets.

- Value engineering and identification of cost-saving opportunities.

- Monitoring project expenditure and financial performance.

- Providing commercial advice and cost management support to clients and project teams.

About You
Qualifications

- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Urban Development, or similar.

- AIQS, RICS, or equivalent professional membership highly regarded.

Experience

- 3+ years' experience in Quantity Surveying or Cost Management.

- Experience within consultancy, contractor, or client-side environments.

- Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes.

- Exposure to large-scale construction, infrastructure, energy, or resources projects is advantageous.

- Proficiency with CostX, Excel, and other industry-standard estimating software.
