About the Role

We're looking for an End User Compute Program Lead to take ownership of a national end user compute program, based from our Brisbane office with travel to Sydney and Melbourne as required. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is both the most technically capable person on the ground and the person accountable for how the service runs across every site. You'll hold the client relationship, lead the onsite team, and act as the escalation point for anything the Level 1 technicians can't resolve - bringing order and momentum to a large, multi-site program while genuinely enjoying solving the problem rather than passing it on.

What you'll be working on

- Holding end-to-end service ownership for the delivery and operation of end user compute services, to agreed scope and service levels
- Acting as the primary day-to-day contact for the client's IT and workplace technology stakeholders
- Planning and running device refresh, deployment and lifecycle activity across all sites - scheduling, resourcing, site readiness and decommissioning
- Producing SLA, performance and asset reporting to an agreed cadence, presenting at service review meetings alongside a Service Delivery Manager
- Owning escalation management through to resolution, including root cause analysis and corrective action




- Coordinating ASI's wider capability into the account - logistics, configuration centre, spare parts pool, OEM support and technical specialists
- Leading the onsite team across Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne - setting priorities, allocating work and managing roster and site coverage
- Mentoring and developing Level 1 technicians, including supporting their Surface certification pathway
- Owning device imaging and build standards, maintaining and testing images and deployment configurations
- Resolving complex break-fix issues escalated from the team, and taking personal carriage of high-priority incidents
- Overseeing spare parts stock levels, pre-positioned inventory and consumables across all sites
- Performing quality assurance across deployments, repairs and IMAC activity, including spot checks and corrective coaching

A bit about you

You bring strong relationship-building instincts alongside technical depth - you're as comfortable in a service review with senior IT stakeholders as you are troubleshooting a hardware fault on the floor. You take ownership seriously: when something needs solving, you solve it rather than passing it up the chain. You lead by example, communicate clearly under pressure, and take genuine pride in keeping a distributed team aligned and supported. You bring sound judgement, a practical mindset, and a real interest in finding better ways to run things rather than settling for the status quo.

Essential Criteria

- Substantial experience running end user compute or workplace technology programs in large or complex organisations, in a leadership capacity rather than a supporting one




- A track record delivering at-scale device rollouts, refresh programs or managed service transitions
- Experience leading a distributed team across multiple sites, including rostering and performance management
- Strong hands-on capability across Windows device deployment, imaging and hardware repair
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Autopilot and up-to-date device management
- Confidence engaging stakeholders from technician level through to senior IT management
- Strong service management discipline - SLA governance, reporting and escalation handling
- Sound judgement operating inside a contracted service environment

Desirable Criteria

- Microsoft Authorised Surface Service Provider certification, or willingness to achieve this within an agreed onboarding period
- Microsoft certification in modern desktop or endpoint administration
