Walsh Gates designs, fabricates and installs premium automatic gates for commercial, industrial and high-end residential clients across South East Queensland.

We build custom, automation-ready gates in-house.

We're looking for a skilled Boilermaker / Welder who takes pride in quality work and wants to be part of a high-performing team.

About the Role

Based in our large, well-lit and ventilated Brisbane workshop, you’ll fabricate:

- Sliding, swing and cantilever automatic gates

- Structural gate frames

- Precision infill systems

- Automation-ready components

- Bespoke custom designs

This is not repetitive production line work — every project is built to a high standard and represents our brand.

Key Responsibilities

- High-quality MIG and LASER welding and fabrication

- Read and interpret technical drawings accurately

- Maintain a protected, clean and organised workshop

- Manage materials, tools and time effectively

- Contribute to continuous improvement

About You

You will:

- Be a qualified Boilermaker / Fabricator

- Have strong MIG welding experience

- Be confident reading technical drawings

- Take pride in clean welds and finished presentation





- Value safety and workshop standards

- Have a team-first attitude
