The opportunity

We are seeking a talented Integrated Logistics Support Lead to drive the Integrated Logistics Support strategy for the Wakulda program. Wakulda is a cornerstone of the Royal Australian Air Force's (RAAF) Air Battle Management Systems. Developed and sustained by Boeing, Wakulda is a complex, integrated command and control system that consolidates data from over 250 defence and civil sensors. The role is based in Brisbane with a minimum requirement of 3 days in the office.

Responsibilities

- Technical Review & Assurance: Technical reviews for ILS artefacts and deliverables. You will ensure that LSA outputs, technical documentation, and support products meet stringent program standards, regulatory requirements, and engineering specifications.
- Hands-On Technical Execution: Lead a small, specialised ILS team by setting technical standards, while performing review and validation of ILS deliverables and engineering artefacts.
- Asset Lifecycle Management: Develop and implement strategies to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of system assets, ensuring supportability is maintained from deployment through to retirement.
- Change Impact Assessment: Lead the assessment of system design changes and upgrades,



determining the required effort to update support artifacts and ensure seamless capability integration.
- Program Interface: Serve as the key ILS interface for the program, ensuring that supportability and maintainability requirements are "designed-in" to all technical developments.

Experience/Qualifications

- Qualifications in Integrated Logistics Support or Product Support Analysis.
- 10+ years of experience in Integrated Logistics Support or Product Support Analysis within a complex defence or aerospace environment.
- Tool & Standard Proficiency: Expert-level experience with industry-recognised tools (e.g., OmegaPS/GenS, SLICwave, eLES/eMRD) and mastery of standards such as MIL-STD-1388, DEF (AUST) 5691/5692, or GEIA-STD-0007C.
- Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements.
