Visy is currently seeking casual Production Workers for day and afternoon shift opportunities at our glass production site at Yatala. If you are a keen and motivated production worker seeking a role in a company that can take you places, look no further!

Our Yatala glass site is a brand new, state of the art facility utilising fully automated machinery and systems to produce glass bottles and packaging for a wide range of leading businesses. If you’ve ever had a drink from a glass bottle, the odds are Visy made it!

We are seeking Re-Sort and Pallet/Packaging Operators to work on a set day, afternoon or night shift. These roles will see you working on the final stages of the production line, assisting with the palletising/packing of the finished product and ensuring that its quality meets Visy’s high standards.

What you’ll do every day:

- Regular manual handling tasks including stacking, lifting and basic troubleshooting
- Quality Assurance/inspection of both product and pallets
- Monitoring of packaging machinery and ensuring smooth production flow
- Maintaining a clean and safe workplace at all times
- Use of computer systems to track products and maintain accurate records (Re-Sort Operator only)
- Use of forklift to move pallets when required (Pallet Operator only)

What our successful candidates possess:

- Previous experience in a manufacturing/production environment




- A good level of physical fitness - able to carry out repetitive manual handling tasks with a focus on safety
- Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure high quality standards
- A outstanding work and team attitude – reliable, keen to learn and develop new skills
- A white card is a current requirement
- A current forklift licence is highly desirable
