About the role

We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our well-established tax and accounting firm WILL YAN & PARTNERS' in our Hawthorn East, VIC office. This is a part-time role where you will play a key part in delivering high-quality taxation and accounting services to our growing client base.

You will work closely with our accountants and assist with a variety of accounting and taxation tasks, including:

- Assisting with preparation of individual and business tax returns

- Assisting with BAS and GST-related work

- Bookkeeping and data entry

- Bank reconciliations and account reconciliations

- Assisting with preparation of financial statements

- Maintaining client records and accounting files

- Assisting with payroll and other accounting tasks

- Using accounting software such as Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks

- Providing general administrative support to the accounting team

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

- Studying or has recently completed an Accounting, Commerce or related degree





- No experience required for graduated accountant, we will provide comprehensive training and support.

- Detail-oriented, organised and reliable

- Fluent in both Mandarin and English

- Has a basic understanding of Australian accounting and taxation principles

- Applicants must hold a valid Australian visa with full working rights. Permanent residency is preferred but not essential.

What We Offer

- 2 days per week part-time position

- $60,000 full time equivalent package, pro rata for 2 days per week

- Salary package including superannuation

- Practical experience across accounting and taxation

- Training and guidance from experienced accountants
