Job Description

VIC VEG is seeking an experienced and reliable Truck Driver to join our team in Katandra West, Victoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation and delivery of goods, while ensuring compliance with road safety requirements and maintaining company vehicles in a safe operating condition.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Safely operate company trucks and vehicles for the transportation and delivery of goods;
- Load, secure, transport and unload goods as required;
- Complete scheduled deliveries and collections in a safe and timely manner;
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and safety checks and report any faults or maintenance requirements;
- Maintain accurate delivery records, logs and other required documentation;
- Ensure goods are appropriately secured and protected during transportation;
- Comply with applicable road laws, workplace health and safety requirements and company procedures;




- Communicate professionally with customers, suppliers and other team members; and
- Maintain vehicles in a clean and safe working condition.

Qualifications and Experience

- Valid HR truck driver's licence appropriate for the vehicles being operated;
- Minimum 1–2 years' relevant truck driving experience;
- Good driving record and strong understanding of road and vehicle safety requirements;
- Reliable, punctual and able to work responsibly with minimal supervision;
- Physically capable of assisting with loading and unloading where required;
- Good communication and organisational skills; and
- Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules efficiently.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $75,000 - $85,000 plus superannuation per year
