Southern Cross Care is looking for an Allied Health Coordinator to help shape the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based allied health services across our organisation. As Allied Health Coordinator, you’ll work alongside physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, Allied Health Assistants, care teams and service leaders to strengthen clinical practice, support skilled growth and develop innovative models of care.

What you'll be doing

- Provide clinical leadership and support across physiotherapy, exercise physiology and Allied Health Assistant services.
- Support clinicians with complex cases, clinical decision-making and workforce challenges.
- Mentor and develop allied health professionals, building capability, confidence and quality practice.
- Support effective supervision, delegation and performance development.
- Lead service improvement initiatives that enhance client outcomes and service quality.
- Help design and implement new allied health programs across residential aged care, retirement living and community settings.
- Explore innovative approaches including group programs, telehealth and AHA-supported models of care.
- Build strong relationships with care teams, residents, families and external providers.
- Contribute to falls prevention,



independence, wellness and community education initiatives.
- Promote a culture of safety, learning, collaboration and respect.

About you

You are an experienced allied health professional who enjoys combining clinical practice with leadership, mentoring and service improvement.

You'll bring:

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy.
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Experience leading or supporting physiotherapy services, ideally within aged care, rehabilitation or community settings.
- Experience delivering therapy across residential and/or community environments.
- Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, supervise and develop others.
- A proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach.
- A genuine commitment to dignity, independence, wellness and quality of life for older people.
