SAP Test Lead – Payroll & Time Transformation

6-Month Initial Contract | Melbourne | Long-Term Program into 2027

We are seeking an experienced SAP Test Lead to join a major Payroll and Time & Attendance transformation currently underway in Melbourne.

This is an initial 6-month contract, however the program will run well into 2027, offering excellent potential for extension.

The project has recently completed the design phase and is moving into build. This is a key role responsible for establishing the testing approach and providing end-to-end testing assurance across the transformation.

The Role

- You will take ownership of the testing function across the program, working closely with internal teams, business stakeholders and multiple vendors. Responsibilities will include:
- Develop and establish the overall test strategy, approach and planning
- Provide end-to-end testing assurance across the transformation
- Lead and coordinate SIT and UAT
- Oversee integration testing across Payroll, Time & Attendance and surrounding systems
- Establish appropriate testing governance, processes and reporting
- Coordinate testing activities across internal teams and external vendors
- Identify and manage testing risks, issues and dependencies
- Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure appropriate test coverage and readiness
- Support the program through build, testing,



deployment and transition

Skills & Experience

We are looking for someone with strong Test Lead / Test Manager experience who has worked on complex, large-scale transformation programs.

You will ideally bring:

- Large-scale transformation program experience
- Strong Payroll testing experience
- Time & Attendance / Workforce Management experience
- End-to-end integration testing
- SIT and UAT leadership
- Test strategy and planning
- Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills
- Experience working across complex system landscapes
- Highly Desirable
- Experience across some of the following would be highly regarded:
- UKG / Kronos
- SAP ECP / SAP Payroll
- Rostering and workforce scheduling
- Time clocking
- Payroll reconciliation
- Superannuation
- Complex workforce environments
- Experience with organisations bringing payroll in-house
- Experience coordinating testing across multiple vendors
