Responsibilities

Reporting to the Credit Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts and ensuring the timely collection of outstanding debtor balances while maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:

- Managing debts that fall outside agreed payment terms
- Following up overdue accounts via phone and email
- Negotiating repayment arrangements with customers
- Investigating and resolving invoice and account queries
- Providing monthly statements to clients
- Preparing monthly debtor and collection reports
- Escalating delayed payments and high-risk accounts where required
- Maintaining accurate debtor records and detailed file notes
- Handling internal and external stakeholder enquiries




- Completing weekly and monthly reporting for the Credit Manager
- Achieving monthly collection targets and KPIs

Candidate Profile

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

- Previous experience as a Credit Officer, ideally within a qualified services environment
- Strong dispute resolution and negotiation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and commercial acumen
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
