The Rising Sun Hotel is a historic country pub in the Bremer Valley, just 19 kilometres from Ipswich, with public transport options nearby. We serve a contemporary take on bistro classics for our locals and visitors to the region.

We’re looking for an experienced Chef or Cook to work alongside our experienced Head Chef and supportive leadership team.

You’ll help deliver a consistent, quality menu, contribute fresh ideas for specials, and keep the kitchen running smoothly. That includes food preparation, ordering, cleaning and food safety processes, as well as valuable communication with the bar and floor team.

We’re looking for someone who:
• Is reliable, dedicated and takes pride in their work
• Stays calm under pressure and pays attention to detail
• Enjoys working with a team and helping develop the food offering
• Has a genuine passion for food and hospitality
• Understands workplace health and safety and HACCP food safety practices
• Holds a current Food Safety Supervisor certificate
