The Visitor & Operations Manager provides leadership across the day-to-day visitor and operational functions at Kyabram Fauna Park, ensuring the delivery of safe, welcoming and high-quality experiences for our visitors. The role leads and supports visitor-facing teams while coordinating operational priorities, resources and service delivery across the property. Working collaboratively with teams across Kyabram Fauna Park and the broader Zoos Victoria network, the role will drive operational excellence, continuous improvement and commercial performance while ensuring our visitor experiences connect people with wildlife and support Zoos Victoria's conservation purpose.

The successful candidate will bring:

- Demonstrated experience leading diverse, customer-focused teams within a visitor, tourism, events or similar operational environment.

- Strong people leadership skills, with the ability to coach and develop staff, build engaged and collaborative teams,



and support people effectively through change.

- Strong operational and commercial capability and the ability to effectively manage operational, financial and administrative priorities.

- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively with stakeholders across all levels of an organisation.

- An approachable and compassionate leadership style, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to operational issues in a agile environment.

- An understanding of, or willingness to develop knowledge in, liquor licensing, food safety and responsible service requirements relevant to the operation.
