The Opportunity
As part of the People & Marketing Division of La Trobe Financial, the Campaign Marketing Manager is responsible for delivering end-to-end integrated marketing campaigns that support business growth, strengthen the La Trobe Financial brand and enhance the client experience.
The role manages campaigns and marketing initiatives from brief through to execution, measurement and optimisation, utilising the full marketing mix across digital, content, media, advertising, events and other relevant channels.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders, including Executives, Business Development Managers and the wider Marketing team, as well as our in-house design team and external agencies and suppliers.
The role requires strong project management, stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver activity in line with La Trobe Financial’s brand, values and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multi-faceted integrated advertising campaigns – from creative brief to agency or internal design studio, media planning with both digital and offline media agencies, through to implementation;
- Develop and execute campaigns aligned to La Trobe Financial’s marketing plan, business objectives and client needs, utilising an integrated approach across the full marketing mix;
- Coordinate the end-to-end development, production and delivery of campaign assets, ensuring work is delivered to agreed timelines,
budgets, brand standards and compliance requirements;
- Lead go-to-market plans for new products, propositions and key business initiatives.
- Ensure all marketing materials and activities meet relevant compliance, regulatory and brand requirements;
- Ad hoc duties as requested or instructed by the department manager and/or executive;
- Represent La Trobe Financial in a professional manner and demonstrate La Trobe Financial’s corporate values at all times
About You
- 5-8 years marketing experience, preferably within Financial Service;
- Tertiary Education in Marketing;
- Marketing ESG capabilities highly sort after;
- Experience developing and managing integrated marketing campaigns from brief through to execution and measurement;
- Experience working closely with in-house creative/design teams, as well as managing media, creative and other external agencies;
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously, including working with senior internal stakeholders;
- Ability to interact and work with all levels and internal and external staff and suppliers, including experience in dealing with intelligent and demanding internal clients at a senior level;
- Ability to develop and tailor clear, compelling messages for different audiences, including retail investors, advisers and brokers;
- Ability to brief and collaborate effectively with designers, agencies and other creative partners;
- Customer-focused approach with the ability to understand and respond to client and business needs;
- Solid understanding of financial markets and asset management industry;
- Ensure consistency tone of voice and currency in the messaging across all marketing touchpoints;
- Effective interpersonal and influencing skills;
- Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills;
- A proven ability to pay close attention to detail, strong organisational skills and a track record of fully implementing projects to completion;
- A team player – works with others to solve challenges and explore opportunities;
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic with requisite personal drive and energy;
- A flexible attitude to meet changes to workloads and tasks;
- Ability to remain calm and a team player during times of high pressure
