Luma is a leading not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of women across Western Australia. For almost 50 years, we have delivered integrated health, wellbeing, counselling, family and domestic violence, and community services that support women at every stage of life.
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Project Officer to support the successful delivery of several exciting organisational projects, including site developments, relocations, fit-outs, and service transition initiatives. Working closely with the Executive Team, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to projects that directly improve the way services are delivered to women and families across our communities.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Project Officer provides project coordination and operational support across Luma's development, redevelopment, and service transition projects. This role combines project administration, stakeholder engagement, policy implementation, and hands-on operational support to help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with minimal disruption to service delivery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate project plans, schedules, action logs, risk registers, and project documentation.
- Support procurement and contract administration processes, including quotes, purchase orders, invoices, and budget tracking.
- Coordinate the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and systems arising from project outcomes.
- Assist with site relocations, fit-outs, transitions, and operational readiness activities.
- Support organisational change initiatives through communication, staff engagement, and transition planning.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers,
landlords, architects, builders, and other key stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and provide updates, reports, and briefing materials to the Executive Team.
- Support reporting, compliance, acquittal, and documentation requirements across multiple projects.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in project coordination, project administration, or project support roles.
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and experience maintaining project documentation, budgets, and reporting.
- Experience developing or implementing policies, procedures, or business processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A practical, hands-on approach with a willingness to support site-based activities and travel between locations as required.
- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications and project tracking tools.
