The finance manager must be a degree qualified accountant with relevant management end to end accounting experience. The range of tasks that the finance manager performs may include, but not limited to:
Accounts Payable

- Supervising data entry WFM & Xero (when required)
- Payments - electronic & cheque
- Answering queries
- Reconciliation & reporting

Accounts Receivable

- Preparation of fee schedules
- Invoicing
- Receipting
- Queries - complex
- Reconciliation & reporting

Payroll & HR

- Adding recent employees in WFM & Xero
- Checking timesheets are entered correctly
- All leave is entered before processing the pay run
- Processing payroll
- Reconciliation & reporting
- Uploading payments in the bank account.
- Queries - complex
- PAYG fortnightly calculation, lodgement & payment
- Payroll tax monthly calculation, lodgement & payment
- Superannuation lodgement and payment
- Annual reconciliations payroll, PAYG, superannuation and payroll tax.
- Preparation of employment contracts
- Assistance with recruitment
- Handling HR issues with the assistance of the HR consultants.

Tax





- Quarterly BAS
- EOFY final transactions and reconciliations
- FBT assistance for the tax accountants
- Financial Reporting
- Bank feeds and reconciliation
- Cashflow
- Monthly profit & loss with last year month comparison
- Monthly balance sheet with last year comparison

Other

- Corporate secretarial including taking minutes at the directors and management meetings.
- Insurance quote comparisons - August for P&I;, May for all other insurance.
- Assistance with QA audits.
