About the Role

Brisbane Isuzu is seeking an experienced Boilermaker / Fabricator to join our team in Burpengary, QLD.

This is an exciting opportunity to utilise your fabrication and boilermaking expertise in a professional workshop environment, working on a range of truck modification, fabrication, and accessory fitment projects. You will play an significant role in producing high-quality workmanship while contributing to a collaborative and safety-focused team.

Based at our Burpengary facility, you'll work alongside skilled tradespeople who take pride in delivering quality results for our customers across the transport and commercial vehicle industries.

What You'll Be Doing

- Performing truck chassis modifications in accordance with engineering specifications and customer requirements

- Fabricating truck accessories and components to a high standard

- Carrying out general fabrication, welding, and assembly work

- Fitting and installing truck accessories and equipment

- Following established processes to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with operational standards

- Inspecting completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements

- Collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and production schedules

- Identifying and resolving fabrication issues while providing practical solutions to improve efficiency, quality, and workplace safety

What We're Looking For

- Trade qualification or completed apprenticeship in Boilermaking, Welding, or Metal Fabrication

- Previous experience as a Boilermaker or Fabricator in a workshop, manufacturing, or heavy vehicle environment

- Proficiency in welding techniques, including MIG, TIG,



and Stick welding

- Experience with truck chassis modifications and accessory fitment will be highly regarded

- Experience operating fabrication machinery and workshop equipment

- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills

- Current driver's licence

- Experience within the automotive, transport, truck body building, manufacturing, or commercial vehicle industry will be highly regarded
