As we scale, we are looking for an experienced and skilled Service Advisor/Mechanic to join our team.

We open 7 days a week from Monday to Sunday.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

SAI Autocare is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor | Motor Mechanic to join our growing team in Perth, WA. In this dual-responsibility role, you will combine your technical mechanical expertise with customer-facing service advisory capabilities, playing a vital part in delivering exceptional automotive service experiences. You will be instrumental in bridging the gap between our technical team and our valued customers, ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction at every touchpoint.

RESPONSIBILITY :

- Greet customers and assess their vehicle service needs.

- Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections and maintenance.

- Diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues.

- Provide accurate cost estimates for repairs and maintenance.

- Communicate vehicle issues and repair timelines to customers.

- Coordinate with mechanics to ensure timely completion of work.

- Maintain customer service records and follow up on services performed.

- Use workshop management software to schedule, invoice, and report





- Oversee and guide junior mechanics in their tasks.

- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.

- Maintain detailed records of services performed.

ABOUT YOU

- Previous leadership experience in an automotive workshop environment

- Strong mechanic and diagnostic skills

- The ability to communicate effectively with customers and workshop technicians.

- Ability to manage parts ordering, supplier relationships, and cost of goods

- Ability to service, diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles

- Strong attention to details

- A reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude

- Full Australian work rights (Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or candidate with full working rights - no sponsorship available)
