About the role

This is a pivotal role within the company. You will manage the productive allocation of jobs to drivers and ensure efficient communication of plans to stakeholders. The role requires a dedicated mindset and professional approach to satisfy customers when the need arises, including after hours and weekends as required.

Key responsibilities

- Manage the efficient allocation of jobs to drivers, and ensure efficient communication of these plans to stakeholders

- Prepare safe and efficient transport routes utilising knowledge of load restraints, curfews, permits, driver capabilities, etc.

- Effectively direct, coordinate and supervise to achieve service objectives of the organisation

- Maximise efficient use of assets through coordinating allocation of workloads

- Communicate on a regular basis with internal staff and external customers





- Ensure compliance is met and facilitate continuous improvement of procedures and documentation

- Direct drivers and advise them of any new processes with clients to ensure correct document is completed on behalf of the client

About you

- Experience in a similar role within heavy vehicle allocations

- Working knowledge of NHVR and Chain of Responsibility

- The ability to analyse, evaluate and communicate information to achieve desired outcomes

- Ability to maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders through effective communication - written and verbal

- Intermediate MS Office skills

- Ability to adapt to new software for allocating
