This role has a key focus on the Cairns Digital Capital Portfolio, supporting the transition of newly delivered and enhanced systems into managed support across HHS and eHealth operational teams. The position will ensure mission-critical services are operationally ready, supported, and safely embedded into BAU environments to enable clinical and frontline operations.

Key responsibilities include:

- Manage the eHealth Queensland transition management processes ensuring they meet the needs of eHealth Queensland's service owners, customers, and support teams.
- Develop, socialise, gain approval for and implement frameworks and models (including workforce elements) for the successful management of recent systems being implemented as part of the program.
- Lead and coordinate the transition of multiple concurrent digital initiatives within the Cairns Digital Capital Portfolio, ensuring systems (including mission-critical services) are effectively transitioned into sustainable BAU support models.
- Contribute to and maintain the framework for Transition Management, ensuring that the process provides a timely resolution of transition management issues, provides consistent, robust, and repeatable processes, minimises the impact of transition-related activities upon service quality, and improves eHealth Queensland's operational and delivery efficiency.
- Lead the development of Support Models in partnership with Service Owners, HHS stakeholders, eHealth operational teams, and external vendors as required for ICT services transitioning from project delivery into operations.
- Identify, track and report transition management deliverables such as Support and Target Operating Models, Training Plans,



operational expenditure funding and resourcing, and products across the investment and delivery lifecycle.
- Coordinate transition requirements for both newly implemented systems and existing services undergoing enhancement, ensuring updates to documentation, configuration, support processes, and commercial arrangements are incorporated into BAU support models.
- Develop and maintain cooperative relationships across internal branches to ensure an end-to-end focus exists for all transition management processes, including advocacy for standardisation, continual improvement, and innovation in service delivery.
- Develop capacity planning reporting to ensure any recent services are resourced appropriately.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of wider transition management strategies, objectives, and industry trends in IT service management

Are you right for this role?
To be successful in this role you will have:

- Demonstrated high level understanding of Transition Management and delivery best practice framework applicable to a large ICT customer service delivery organisation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of project delivery and Business as Usual (BAU) operations to support the development and successful embedding of new services across the Hospital and Health Service (HHS).
- Demonstrated ability to design,



implement and promote Transition Management processes within a large, complex service delivery organisation.
- Advanced interpersonal, communication, negotiation, consultation, and collaboration skills incorporating the ability to liaise and consult effectively with personnel at all levels within and external to eHealth Queensland.
- Demonstrated high level organisational skills including the ability to establish own work priorities and manage time effectively, whilst remaining versatile to respond to changing needs in a busy environment.
- High level oral and written communication skills, including the ability to compile complex reports, briefs, correspondence, and submissions on behalf of the Program.
- Demonstrated high level research, analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills including the proven capacity to initiate appropriate strategic and operational responses to key issues affecting the enterprise.
- Highly developed stakeholder engagement and management skills with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and mentor staff committed to the delivery of a diverse and dynamic work program to achieve positive service outcomes for customers while effectively managing conflicting demands and tight timeframes.
- Knowledge of clinical and corporate systems, underpinning infrastructure and operational workflows (highly desirable)
